Student
Council
Student Council
is an opportunity for students to make a difference at
school, home, and in the community. While nurturing leadership
skills and building positive relationships, student council members are the
voice of their peers.
Each fourth and fifth
grade class elects two class
representatives to share concerns, voice opinions and ideas, and participate in
community events. Class representatives nominate president and
vice-president to run in the school wide (grades 3-5) election.
Council members
then vote on secretary, treasurer, historian, and sergeant-at-arms.
Student Council
promotes democracy, student moral, and community awareness.
