JUNIOR ROTC

A Character and Leadership Development Program

The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) is designed to teach high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. Their focus is reflected in its mission statement, “To motivate young people to become better citizens.” It prepares high school students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilities, and privileges as American citizens. The program is a stimulus for promoting graduation from high school, and it provides instruction and rewarding opportunities that will benefit the student, community, and nation.

Participation in JROTC does not incur a military service obligation to either the active services or reserves. It is not a recruitment service. There will be no active recruitment in our JROTC program. We will not teach combat skills.

Diseñan al cuerpo de entrenamiento de oficial de reserva menor (JROTC) para enseñar la High School secundaria estudiantes el valor de la ciudadanía, dirección, servicio a la comunidad, responsabilidad personal, y un sentido de la realización, mientras que inculca adentro ellos autoestima, trabajo en equipo, y autodisciplina. Su foco se refleja adentro su declaración de la misión, "motivar a gente joven para hacer ciudadanos mejores."él prepara a estudiantes de la High School secundaria para los papeles responsables de la dirección mientras que hace ellos enterados de las sus derechas, responsabilidades, y privilegios como americano ciudadanos. El programa es un estímulo para promover la graduación de la High School secundaria, y proporciona las oportunidades de la instrucción y de la recompensa que beneficiarán estudiante, comunidad, y nación.

Participación en JROTC no incurre en una obligación del servicio militar a cualquiera el activo servicios o reservas. No es un servicio del reclutamiento. No habrá activo reclutamiento en nuestro programa de JROTC. No enseñaremos habilidades del combate.
