PORTFOLIO All North Springs High School JROTC cadets will maintain a career portfolio. The portfolio will be arranged using a 1-inch binder or a professional folder. The portfolio will be kept in the JROTC classroom. It must be updated periodically as cadets gain recognition or personal or profession growth. The portfolio tracks changes on cadet self-assessment and goal setting (especially growth from LET year to LET year). Graduating seniors or students transferring to another school will be allowed to take their portfolio to be used throughout their careers. Portfolios will be graded on organization and content. LET 1 JROTC Cadet Portfolios will include the following: (1) A personal cover page. (2) Mission statement of goals. (3) Personal Skills Map (personal profile). (4) Winning Colors Communication Discovery Form (personal profile). (5) Learning style inventory (personal profile). (6) At least two samples reflecting academic work from JROTC- or other classes. (2) The personal growth plan assessment task. (3) A physical score card. (4) The appreciating diversity reflection assessment tool. (5) An entry for the JROTC Essay Contest (6) A Resume with references. (7) Samples of awards, certificates of accomplishment and other achievements (8) Samples representing academic units of study from any subject area within or outside of the JROTC program, etc. NSHS JROTC
