Welcome to the Business Department!

On Behalf of the Business and Information Technology Department, I would like to wish everyone a successful school year. Our department no longer offers keyboarding as a separate course. Keyboarding is built in with our Computer Applications course, and we will be offering tutorials for students who need to brush up on their typing skills or any other computer application skills. Please see your teacher for a tutorial schedule. Welcome "back to business" as usual!!

Ms. Conley, Business Department Chair

Why take business classes?

Courses in the Business & Information Technology Department prepare students for a plethora of career pathways. It gives students a foundation to utilize their technology skills with basic computer applications, web page designs, programming abilities, and desktop publishing skills. Students are also exposed to the legal environment in business, banking & financial history and laws, as well as marketing principles and worksite-based learning with on-the-job training plans in our Co-op Internship courses.
