Assessment Guidelines/Tips:
- The students are to demonstrate to you
that they are able to use the drawing tools to create and original piece
of artwork.
- Examples of software that allow
students to create illustrations are: Kid Pix Deluxe 4, Paint, and
AppleWorks.
- Have students sketch out a rough draft
on paper with pencil before going to the computer.
Sample Student Tasks for Assessment
There's a Wocket in my Pocket- In this project each student created
one page for the class book.
Weather
Illustrations- Students can draw a picture of their favorite kind of weather. This is
one of the activities in the "Weather Pictionary" lessons in PICASSO.
Students can write about their drawing once the picture prints.
Rhyming Words-
Students make illustrations of rhyming words.
