Assessment Guidelines/Tips:
- The students are to demonstrate to you
that they are able to use the drawing tools to create an original piece
of artwork.
- Examples of software that allow
students to create illustrations are: Kid Pix Deluxe 4, Paint, and
AppleWorks.
- Have the students sketch out their
drawing using pencil and paper before goign to the computer.
Sample Student Tasks for Assessment
Narrative Writing Illustration- Students can illustrate
a picture to accompany their narrative writing. This student wrote a
narrative piece about his camping trip.
