Quarter 4 Assessment

Technology Standards:
The student recognizes and uses letter keys and other basic keys (shift, caps lock, backspace, space bar, enter, etc.) on a keyboard. T.ELA2W1.11

The student uses a word processing application to create and edit a document that contains text (words, phrases, and sentences) and images. T.ELA2W1.14

Assessment Guidelines/Tips:

  1. The students MUST insert an image and enter text.
  2. This assessment can be done using any software that allows students to use a keyboard to enter text (PowerPoint, Word, Kid Pix, Kid Works etc).
  3. Definition of standard keyboarding techniques: use the right pointer finger for the keys on the right side of the keyboard and the left pointer finger for the keys on the left side.
