Assessment Guidelines/Tips:
- The students are to demonstrate to you
that they are able to use the drawing tools to create an original piece
of artwork.
- If you would like for students to
write something to go along with their picture, print the picture and
then let them do their writing with pencil. The focus of this assessment
should be on drawing and not on typing.
- Examples of software that allow
students to create illustrations are: Kid Pix Deluxe 4, Paint, and
AppleWorks.
- Have the students sketch out their
drawing using pencil and paper before going to the computer.
