Welcome Wheeler High School Students!
School starts at 8:25 AM on Monday. Traffic will be heavier than normal, so allow some extra time if you are driving to school in the morning. Students, please report directly to your homerooms.


Congratulations to Santhosh Karnik who placed first in the state of Georgia in the American Mathematics Competition which took place last April. He participated in an 8-hour exam containing questions that was given over a two-day period. What a significant accomplishment! We are very proud of him.

Join the Wildcat Pride Marching Band in welcoming the 2008 Fall Color Guard:

Jamie Steinheimer (Sr), Olivia Myers (Sr) and Rachel Butler (Jr) co-captains; Shanice Jackson (Jr - rookie), Dekotah Moreno (Jr - rookie), Breanna Dodd (Jr - rookie); Veronica Saldana (Soph), Kaenan Moreno (Soph), Vanessa Sergovia (Soph); Jazmine Barnes (Freshman - rookie), Natalie Oswell (Freshman - rookie) and Elizabeth Vandercook (Freshman - rookie). The Guard has been practicing once a week all summer and has just completed two weeks of band camp at Wheeler and Furman University in order to be prepared for the debut of this year's show at the Warner Robins game later this month. Show your support and be there!

Internet Access to Student Grades.

Pinnacle Internet Viewer (PIV) will replace i-Parent for Internet Access to student grades and attendance. Beginning Monday, August 11, 2008, teachers at Wheeler High School will begin using this new software to record student grades and Attendance. PIV will be available beginning Friday, August 29, 2008 to parents. Instructions for using PIV will be made available soon.

Letter Jacket Fittings.
If you would like to order a letter jacket please attend one of the two dates for Letter Jacket fittings this fall: Friday, August 29 and Friday, October 31. The fittings will take place in the front office lobby from 7:40 am until 8:10 am. The order forms are in the front office.

Parent Volunteers are needed the first week of school to make sure the year starts off great for all Wheeler Wildcats!!

SAT Prep Class returning this fall.
Please sign up via the website. The cost is $195.00, which includes all your materials and six weeks of instruction (3 math, 3 verbal) on Sunday afternoons starting August 17th. The class is limited to 40, so sign up soon. We are targeting the Oct 5th SAT testing date. Taking the test early in the fall leaves plenty of time to take a second test if needed. Mock SAT
Wheeler ABC will be hosting a Mock SAT on Saturday, September 6th from 8:45 am – 1:00pm in the Auditorium.
