McEACHERN INDIAN BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP

SUMMER Boys Basketball CAMP REGISTRATION FORM
The 2008 McEachern Boy’s Basketball Camp
will take place June 9th - 13th and will be directed by
our McEachern Basketball Staff. Camp directors have all
been part of the McEachern Basketball family for many
years and include Mike Thompson, Joel White, Michael
Taylor, and Coz Richards. Quality instruction in skill
development, team concepts, and defensive play will be
stressed throughout the week. Guest instructors will
also be working during the camps this year. Awards will
be given to selected campers of the week and campers
that win skill competitions. We look forward to seeing
you and working with you at camp this year. For more

Music Camps
Summer String Camp -
Orchestra - July 7th - July 24th McEachern High School and its ASTA/NSOA Student Chapter will be
sponsoring its 15th Annual Summer String Camp for students in
7th-12th grade. The camp will be held on Mondays and Thursdays
beginning on Monday, July 7th and concluding on Thursday, July

Piano Lab - Summer
Piano Lessons - June 3rd - June 26th
Piano lab classes will be
offered to beginning students (or those with little
recent experience) this summer at McEachern High School.
The classes will be held in the PAC Orchestra Room. Cost
for the lessons is $30, $5 for each addition child. Each
class is limited to 16 students. The session will be
held from Tuesday through Thursday each of the four
weeks with the exception of the SECOND WEEK. The
sessions will be offered at the following times:
Tuesday, June 3rd –Thursday, June 5th, (Wednesday, June
11th only; Dr. Mooney has in-service on Tuesday/Thursday
that week), Tuesday, June 17th -Thursday, June 19th, and
Tuesday, June 24th – Thursday, June 26th.

Leadership Opportunities
9th
Annual Summer Leadership Academy at University of West GA
– The Honors Leadership Academy for Young Women is hosting a
leadership academy on the campus of UWG called LEARN to LIVE
Together. This program is open to young women in the 7th
grade and above who participated in Duke University’s TIP program.
This summer’s program is scheduled for July 6-11, 2008. They
encourage bright young women to take advantage of the lower Early
Application Fees and be in the running for the few partial
scholarships that they have for attendees. More information is

This summer the Organization of Black Airline Pilots (OBAP) will
hold two Aviation Career Education Camps sponsored by Delta Air
Lines. The purpose of each one-week program is to introduce
interested youth to the world of aviation by exposing them to
the many challenging careers and opportunities which the
aviation industry has
to offer. During this time you will receive instruction from
volunteer aviation professionals and other members of the
aviation and education communities.
DeVry
University 11th Annual Passport2College – A wonderful
opportunity this summer for rising juniors and seniors. A way
to get a jump start on your college education – earn college
credits! These are tuition-free courses that encourage
outstanding young people to build on their foundation of
technical knowledge and encourage academic growth. Applications

Kennesaw State University Summer Courses
Students engage in activities from photography to Lego robotics in
Kennesaw's summer short courses. The courses last either four or
