GED®

ABE students receive basic remedial instruction in Reading, Math, and Language.

Students are assigned to classes based upon TABE (Tests of Adult Basic Education) test scores.

Classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.  If you select a morning schedule, classes meet from 9:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.  If you select an evening schedule, classes meet from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

.

ABE students are required to score 9.0 or higher on the TABE test to begin GED® classes.  TABE tests are given at the end of each school quarter, or anytime during the quarter at the recommendation of the ABE teacher.

Classes are provided at no cost to the student, but regular attendance and progress are monitored to assure that students are meeting the requirements necessary to achieve their goals.
