Georgia Parent Surveys
The Georgia Parent Survey can be accessed
by use of personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. For parents
with limited or no internet access, please contact our Parent
Liaison, Ms. Andrea. Participation is encouraged to help provide
guidance in making school-wide decisions and calculation of the
School Climate Star Rating within CCRPI. Survey responses are
anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia
Department of Education for analysis.

Our principal, Mrs. Amlett,
was recognized and honored at the Acworth City Council meeting
for her dedication to building lasting relationships with the
City of Acworth.
Thank you, Ms. Amlett, for continuing
our school mission to be the Gem of Acworth!
Atlanta Falcons NFL Play 60 FitnessGram Celebration at the
Arthur Blank Family Center on September 14.

Middle School and Keheley Elementary are among 35 schools
selected across the state to participate in the Atlanta Falcons
NFL Play 60 FitnessGram program. The schools were chosen
through an application process and over the next two years, the
Atlanta Falcons will showcase these CCSD schools as a models for
the NFL PLAY 60 initiative and for Georgia Shape, the Governor’s
statewide campaign that is mobilizing more than 2,000 schools to
improve youth fitness. Governor Nathan Deal made a special
appearance and spoke of the importance of physical education in
BMS cafeteria staff supporting Childhood Cancer
Awareness month with gold shoelaces. Proceeds from the purchase
of the laces go toward finding cures.
