Summer Reading Information
The Cobb County School District’s Library Media Education and
English Language Arts Departments have partnered with the Cobb
County Public Library System (CCPLS), Marietta City Schools, and
Smyrna Public Library to provide complementary summer reading
programs for Grades 6-12. The theme for this summer’s teen
reading program is “Spark a Reaction.”
It is highly recommended that all Barber Middle School
students complete a summer reading assignment.

a procedure for ensuring fair and prompt resolution of
complaints for Federal programs. It is a State and Federal
mandate that all Title I parents be advised on how to file a
complaint on Federal programs. The document below will give you

The Cobb County School District is again
offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the
2014-2015 school year. Applications will be available
