Georgia Milestones Testing is Coming Up...

Georgia Milestones testing is coming up for grades 3, 4, and 5 in April and May.

Students are tested on the standards they are learning all year.

 For more information about the test, the content and some sample items, please click here.

3rd Grade Testing Dates:

April 16th:  ELA Section 1

April 17th:  ELA Section 2

April 18th:  ELA Section 3

April 24th: Math Section 1

April 25th:  Math Section 2







4th Grade Testing Dates:

April 29th:  ELA Section 1

April 30th:  ELA Section 2

May 1st:  ELA Section 3

May 6th: Math Section 1

May 7th:  Math Section 2

5th Grade Testing Dates:

April 10th: ELA Section 1

April 11th: ELA Section 2

April 12th: ELA Section 3

April 22nd: Math Section 1

April 23rd: Math Section 2

May 2nd: Science Sections 1 and 2

May 3rd: Social Studies Sections 1 and 2

Kindergarten and new student registration for the 2019 - 2020 school year begins on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. 
Registration will be from 8:30 am to 11:30 am in the Bells Ferry Library Learning Commons.

Bells Ferry International Night is Coming!!

Thursday, March 21st from 6:00-7:30pm

We are looking for more parents/families to help host tables with posters, pictures, food, music, artifacts.

Several have signed up, but we need more!

We are looking for representation of the following countries:

China, Japan, Israel, Korea, Venezuela, Mexico, El Salvador, Kenya, and others.

This week’s activities include
Dress-up days, prize drawings, daily trivia questions, poster contest, reading challenge and a visit from Sprayberry High School “cats”.
Horton hears a Who! – Perform a Random act of kindness
The Lorax – Wear a mustache
Wacky Wednesday- Wear your clothes backwards, inside out, different shoes
and socks, etc.
Oh the Places You’ll Go – Wear a shirt to represent a state you have traveled to
Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character

Dear Bells Ferry Families
Throughout the year, the lost and found closet  starts overflowing with coats, clothing, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc.. Please label all items with your child’s first and last name. Also, please encourage your child to check lost and found frequently. Thank you for your help! In order to keep the Lost and Found space organized, unclaimed items will be donated to various ministries regularly
Here is the 2018 -2019 Lost and Found donation schedule:
December 21 – Last day before Winter break
February 15 – Last day before February break
March 29 – Last day before Spring break
April 26 – End of the month
May 22 – Last Day of School
