This is Sparta! - 9th grade orientation - July 30th

9th grade students, please mark your calendar for CHS 9th grade orientation.  It will be Tuesday, July 30th, 8:30 -10am in Wills Gym.

Summer Schedule

To conserve energy and taxpayer dollars, Cobb County schools will adopt a 4-day summer schedule. The front office will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday beginning Monday, June 3 through Friday, July 12. The office will be closed the week of the 4th of July. Have a safe and happy summer!

Counseling Office Summer Hours

Counseling will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am - 1 pm from June 4th - July 23rd.

The counseling offices will be closed the week of July 1st - 5th.

Free Sports Physicals

Piedmont and Campbell High School have created a partnership to provide free sports physicals to CHS students from July 1st - July 31st. Students must show a CHS student ID and should have completed the appropriate sections of the GHSA sports physical form prior to visiting. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Campbell students receive Georgia Seal of Biliteracy

In May, hundreds of Cobb graduates earned a Georgia Department of Education World Language Seal.  Georgia's Seal of Biliteracy was awarded to 252 students including almost 100 from Campbell High School.  More information.

Applerouth SAT Prep Classes at CHS this fall - registration deadline July 29

Rising seniors planning to take the SAT one more time in the fall AND rising juniors looking for some extra practice before the PSAT/NMSQT in October have an opportunity to take a discounted Applerouth SAT prep class on the CHS campus this fall. Summer School

The location of Cobb County School District Summer School is Cobb Horizon. Classes are $550 for a full credit and $275 for half credit courses. Summer school courses may only be taken if a student has failed the course previously. Please see a counselor for more information related to free and reduced lunch costs for the summer classes. Please read here for more information.

Online Courses

Online courses may only be taken through CVA or GaVS. The costs are $550 for full credit and $275 for half credit courses. You may take courses for initial credit. If you receive free or reduced lunch please see a counselor ASAP for information related to scholarships and costs.

Congratulations to CHS Junior Natasha Dorr-Kapczynski, whose art was recently featured as the cover of Albricias, a biannual journal of selected works from members of the Sociedad Honararia Hispanica. Each edition focuses on a different theme of Hispanic culture and includes poetry, art, essays, etc. from student chapters.

AP Capstone

Campbell High School is excited to offer the AP Capstone program as an engaging and challenging experience for students. College Board's newest AP venture, Capstone prepares students for the rigor of college and beyond by emphasizing research, writing, public speaking, and teamwork. LGE School Spirit Cards

The LGE Community Credit Union (LGE) has partnered with CCSD to provide High School Spirit Cards. These are VISA Credit/Debit Cards with unique high school mascot logos. LGE will contribute to Campbell High school for every LGE Campbell credit card that is opened. To learn more, click here.

Campbell is an AP Honor School

AP Honors School

Campbell High School has been recognized for the following AP Honors for 2018: AP STEM School; AP STEM Achievement School; AP Humanities School; and AP Access and Support School.

Free Library Access

All students now have a Cobb County Public Library Card. It is their Campbell Student ID! Students may use this card to visit the 16 Cobb branches for book checkout, equipment use, computer use, and internet browsing to download books and use the research databases at Cobb Library Pass.
