Congratulations to Spartan Girls Track Team for winning the STATE 7A CHAMPIONSHIP!!


Summer Schedule

To conserve energy and taxpayer dollars, Cobb County schools will adopt a 4-day summer schedule. The front office will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday beginning Monday, June 3 through Friday, July 12. The office will be closed the week of the 4th of July. Have a safe and happy summer!


Counseling Office Summer Hours

Counseling will be open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am - 1 pm from June 4th - July 23rd.

The counseling offices will be closed the week of July 1st - 5th.


Baccalaureate Ceremony

Friday, May 24th, 7:00 pm. Smyrna First United Methodist Church. 1315 Concord Road, Smryna.

The Baccalaureate Ceremony is an interfaith service to bless and celebrate the Graduating Seniors of 2019. Students are to arrive at the church's Welcome Center by 6:00 pm wearing their graduation gowns (no caps). Each student is asked to bring a fresh flower of their choice for the communal bouquet. Family and friends are welcome.


Free Sports Physicals

Piedmont and Campbell High School have created a partnership to provide free sports physicals to CHS students from July 1st - July 31st. Students must show a CHS student ID and should have completed the appropriate sections of the GHSA sports physical form prior to visiting. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Summer School

The location of Cobb County School District Summer School is Cobb Horizon. Classes are $550 for a full credit and $275 for half credit courses. Summer school courses may only be taken if a student has failed the course previously. Please see a counselor for more information related to free and reduced lunch costs for the summer classes. Please read here for more information.


Online Courses

Online courses may only be taken through CVA or GaVS. The costs are $550 for full credit and $275 for half credit courses. You may take courses for initial credit. If you receive free or reduced lunch please see a counselor ASAP for information related to scholarships and costs.

Spartan STEM Summer Camp

Rising 9th-12th graders are invited to the STEM Summer Camp at CHS. The Camp will run June 3 - June 20, 2019. Camp days are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. Please use the following link to register. The deadline for registration is April 18, 2019. Registration Form.

 


Congrats!

Congratulations to CHS Junior Natasha Dorr-Kapczynski, whose art was recently featured as the cover of Albricias, a biannual journal of selected works from members of the Sociedad Honararia Hispanica. Each edition focuses on a different theme of Hispanic culture and includes poetry, art, essays, etc. from student chapters.




International Skills Diploma Seal

Use the attached form to apply for the ISDS in foreign language. You may qualify if you took 3 credits in the same foreign language and/or ESOL, 4 credits in courses with an international focus, 4 extracurricular activities and experiences with global themes and/or in global contexts, 20 hours of community service involving global/cross-cultural public service, and complete a capstone presentation on the knowledge gained from courses and activities listed. Spring Parking Info

Parking decal pick up will occur on the following dates:

Seniors - Jan. 4 from 9am - 11am in the cafeteria. Jan. 7 during lunch.

Juniors - Jan. 8 and 9 during lunch

GA Parent Survey 2018-2019

Parents please complete the 24 question survey using computers, smartphones, or tablets. This survey will be used as a part of the calculation for the School Climate Star Rating. Campbell High School is excited to offer the AP Capstone program as an engaging and challenging experience for students. Free Library Access

All students now have a Cobb County Public Library Card. It is their Campbell Student ID! Students may use this card to visit the 16 Cobb branches for book checkout, equipment use, computer use, and internet browsing to download books and use the research databases at Cobb Library Pass. School Transfer for Siblings

Parents of a student who has a sibling already enrolled in a District school through an approved transfer may apply for a younger sibling to attend the same school in accordance with District Administrative Rule JBCD-R. This provision attempts to address siblings enrolled in different schools at the same time due to an approved transfer. A sibling is defined as a brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister living in the same household and who otherwise meets the requirements for enrollment. The application window for the 2018-19 school year will be open from January 4, 2018 through January 31, 2018.
