    David Parker
       Assistant Principal

Welcome to David Parker, our new Assistant Principal!
A teacher or administrator in Cobb County since 1996, David was a charter member of the 5th grade team here at 'The Hill' when it opened in 1997.

It was here at Cheatham Hill where David met his wife, Karen.  He left in 2001 and served as an administrator at Acworth Elementary, Kennesaw Elementary, and Frey Elementary.  He is very excited to be back “home” and looks forward to a wonderful year as well as the opportunity to get to know our students and parents.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
If your student is in a BYOD classroom, please review CCSD's Internet Acceptable Use Policy, click here.

Please note:

Effective September 7, 2010, students will not be permitted to return to classrooms after 2:45 pm to retrieve forgotten items such as homework, lunch boxes, book bags, etc. Teachers may leave the campus at 2:45 pm, therefore sending students to rooms without someone present is a concern for our staff and for the security of our students. Please be advised that ASP workers and custodians will no longer be able to unlock classrooms for parents or students. Until students become acclimated to this procedure, we will provide daily reminders on the afternoon announcements.

 Georgia Poison Center
 Poster Contest

Poisonings are one of the most common injuries for children in the United States.  All students in K thru  8th grade are invited to participate in the Georgia Poison Center Poster Contest.  The goal of this contest is to let students and parents know that when a poison emergency happens they should call 1-800-222-1222. By knowing the phone number and knowing when to call, you can be ready when a poison emergency happens. Posters are due to the Georgia Poison Center by October 31, 2014.
