Annual Title I Surveys

We invite you to provide feedback as part of our ongoing continuous improvement process.  This allows us to make more informed decisions related to Title I School Improvement Plans and Family Engagement Policies. The survey results will enable our Title I Program to measure stakeholders’ perceptions and help target improvement strategies focused on student achievement as well as school and district effectiveness.  The survey will be available through April 30, 2019. All responses to this survey will be anonymous.

Georgia Parent Survey

The Georgia Parent Survey is modeled after the student survey and contains 24 questions. Parents, you may complete the survey using your personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. If you do not have access to the Internet, you may come to the Parent Resource Room to complete the Georgia Parent Survey at school. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Parents may select the Spanish version within the survey.

Clarkdale will begin utilizing the PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) framework in the 2018-19 school year. Our school-wide expectations are Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be a Role Model also known as R3 behavior. PBIS helps to create a culture that maximizes teaching and learning.

Clarkdale has a Dual Language Spanish immersion program!

Clarkdale has added a second grade class to our Dual Language English/Spanish Immersion program!  Last year's Kindergartners will move up to 1st grade and we will welcome our third group of Kindergarten students to the program.  This unique model provides instruction and support for students in learning both languages.  Students will split their day between instruction in Spanish and English. We will continue to grow this program each year through Grade 5. We will instill cultural competence and enhance communication among our students and community. Our Dual Language English/Spanish Immersion program will help students to become bilingual and biliterate in an ever changing world.

Support CLARKDALE ELEMENTARY and have your child’s name displayed on the marquee at the school entrance. Complete this form and send it to the main office to request your Happy Birthday Announcement.
