Meet Our Administrators

Paula Huffman, Principal

Welcome! I am the principal of Garrison Mill Elementary and would like to welcome you to our website. My career history includes nineteen years in education, with five spent in school administration both here and at Rocky Mount Elementary. I have also worked as an elementary classroom teacher and media specialist in both Cobb and Coweta Counties. My degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood from Berry College, a Masters Degree from Georgia State University and an Ed. S. in School Administration from Lincoln Memorial University. On a personal note, I am an Atlanta area native with two parents who are former educators. I currently live just north of Garrison Mill in the Hickory Flat community with my husband and two teenagers. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and hiking.

I am dedicated to continuing the excellence that defines Garrison Mill. We are a child-centered school with high expectations for our students, exceptional instruction from our staff and a wonderful sense of community involvement.
