After School Tutoring Program
Hillgrove High School begins the Afternoon Tutorial Program on
January 19, 2010.
Teachers will be working with groups of students in English,
Mathematics,
Science, and Social Studies. Review sessions for the Georgia High
School Graduation Test will also be available second semester. The tutorial
curriculum will be an extension of the standards taught in the regular academic
classroom. Any student who wishes to participate in the tutorial program may
register to attend. The Afternoon
Tutorial Program will meet on Tuesday and Thursday from
3:35 PM to 4:30 PM in the cafeteria. Students must be on time
and bring the required materials needed for the tutoring session. Three
(3) consecutive unexcused absence will result in the student being dropped from ATP.
If dropped from the program for attendance reasons, a student may not re-enroll
until the following semester.
Tutorial sessions will continue, as needed, for the rest of the
year. Once a
student is enrolled in ATP, he/she will remain in the program until
a
parent/guardian requests in writing that the student be removed. No
transportation
will be provided for ATP; students should be picked up from school
at 4:30 PM. For further information, contact 678-331-3961 x228 or x419.
Please complete the
registration form and return to the ATP staff.
A signed form must be on file for a student participant on or before
a student attends his/her second ATP session.
