Tentative Rehearsal Days
(Thursday’s from 2:20-3:30 pm)

Chorus Uniform:

  • We wear a navy polo (shirt) that is embroidered, “Kennesaw Elementary Chorus” in white with a red treble clef. You can either rent one from the school for $10 and return it at the end of May 2017, or purchase one for $15.
  • All money is due by/before Friday, September 8th (after you have been notified that your child is in chorus)
  • Solid black dress pants (with belt loops) & a solid black belt (no jeans or skirts!)
  • Solid black closed toed dress shoes with solid black socks or stockings (Girls: no high heels, flats work best!)

Rehearsal Dismissal:
Car riders/walkers must be picked up promptly at 3:30 in the bus port. Students not picked up on time will go to ASP and be required to pay the fee. ASP students must be registered at KES only. Some daycares pick up after rehearsal if you coordinate. Check with your daycare provider for more information.
When will my child know if he/she is in chorus?
A list will be e-mailed to their classroom teachers Tuesday, August 30th and a letter will be sent home that afternoon to all students that auditioned. The first rehearsal will be Thursday, September 1st.
Are rehearsals/performances required?
Yes! Not only are students learning the songs, but they are also learning the importance of fulfilling a commitment. Chorus gives the students something to be proud of; performing gives them a chance to show off all their hard work from rehearsals!
