Black History Program
LSGA will host a Black History Program titled "I AM" on Thursday, February 16, 2017. The first show is at 9:30 a.m.
and the second show is at 10:45 a.m. Parents are welcomed to attend during those times.
LSGA's school dance will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at 2:30 in the gym. Admisssion is $3 and concession is $1.
Winter Break is from Monday - Friday, February 20-24, 2017. School will be closed.
LSGA Receives Single Statewide Accountability System (SSAS) Awards
Lindley Sixth Grade Academy receives the Greatest Gain Award in the Gold category for exhibiting high growth in student
achievement by earning a three-year average CCRPI Progress Score in at least the 93rd percentile in the state. LSGA is one
of 25 Cobb schools being recognized out of 218 schools across the State of Georgia.

LSGA Food Pantry
LSGA's food pantry which is sponsored by MUST Ministries. Distribution date is on the 3rd Monday of each month (except June 29th) from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Pebblebrook Junior Falcons Track Practice
Regular Practice is on Monday and Wednesdays from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Pebblebrook Track Field. The cost is $150.00 by 2/8/17

Georgia Parent Survey

Acceptable School Attire
Students are expected to adhere to the Dress Code Policy of the Cobb County Board of Education (JCDB). Acceptable school attire
enhances the overall climate and expectation of the school for students. Dress Attire checks will take place during first period and
throughout the day. The school dress code is enforced the first day of school.

The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2017-2018 school year. Individual school
capacity information and applications will be available beginning February 1, 2017 on the District website. For more information, please see our
