Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey is
also modeled after the student survey and contains 24
questions. Parents please follow the link to take a brief
survey about your experience with Lindley Sixth Grade
Academy. Survey responses are anonymous and will be
submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education
for analysis. Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey
will not be available to the public and will not be posted
Teacher's Lunch Box
Lindley Sixth Grade Academy has partnered with the Daily
Grind to introduce a fantastic new way to show teachers how much
we appreciate them. Please encourage a teacher today. Buy them a
lunch credit and they will know how much you really appreciate
them. They will get a tasty lunch delivered to their school and
the program will add $1 to a gift card of their choice. Very
Important: Leave a note on their board and make their day (they
will get this note emailed to them)!

Building Parent Leaders - Road to Graduation
Parents join us at Sky View Professional Center
for the opportunity. Parents will learn valuable information
about how to help your student be successful and graduate from
high school. This conference will be held on Saturday, January
24, 2015 from 8:30am - 12:00pm.

LSGA Drama News!
Lindley’s drama students participate in the
Alliance Theatre’s Collision Plus program through the Lindley
Theatre Arts Program under the direction of Ms. Cancer.
In January drama students attend the world
premiere of Tuck Everlasting and will continue to participate in
pre/post show theatre sessions lead by Ms. Garcia of the
Alliance and Lindley’s Theatre Arts Director, Ms. Cancer.
2015-2016 School Choice
The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice
(HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2015-2016 school year.
Individual school capacity information and applications will be
available beginning February 1, 2015 on the District website.

Spelling Bee Winners
Congratulations to Xaniyah Black
for winning the school-wide Spelling Bee. She will represent
Lindley 6th Grade Academy at the county Spelling Bee. Also an
honorable mention goes to Queen Moses as the
runner up. She will serve as our alternate participant.
Day of Code
LSGA will be participating in the "Day of Code"
supported by the ToC (Technologist of Color) organization.

The school dress code is enforced the first day of school. Gentlemen, please remember to purchase a black or brown leather
belt. Ladies, all accessories must be in uniformed color and should not be a distraction to the instructional
