McDonald's McTeacher Night
Join us McDonald's at 840 Veteran's Memorial
Highway, Mableton, GA 30126 for McTeacher's Night from 5pm -
8pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Teachers will host, serve, and cook. A portion of the
proceeds will be donated back to the school.
Red Ribbon Week & Breast Cancer Awareness
The theme for Red Ribbon Week is
LOVE YOURSELF AND BE DRUG
FREE! This is LSGA’s Red Ribbon week and we have several
Monday, October 27th
we are pledging to be drug free, please sign the banners posted
Tuesday, October 28th
we are taking our hats off to drugs, everyone will be allowed to
wear their favorite hat.
Wednesday, October 29th
everyone will be allowed to wear red shirts, because we are mad
Thursday, October 30th
everyone will be allowed to wear crazy socks and hi-tops or
boots because we socking it to drugs and stomping drugs out.
everyone will wear Pink (representing Breast Cancer Awareness)
and may also wear jeans for the cost of 2 dollars. Proceeds
raised will be used to make a donation to Making Strides against
Breast Cancer and to support LSGA student clubs.
College Prep 101
Georgia State University will be holding a
College Prep Session on Saturday, November 8, 2014, from 9AM -
4PM. Langdale Hall (6th Floor). Decatur Street and Peachtree
Center Ave. Atlanta, GA 30303
Title I Family Night and Science Night
Join us for our Title I Family Night on
October 30, 2014 at 6:00pm. Please
come to find out exactly what it means to be a Title I school,
How funds are spent, find out about our school wide goals, and
how you can be more involved as a parent.

The Cobb County School District is
again offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the
2014-2015 school year. Applications will be available beginning

Barge, State School Superintendent and the Georgia Department of

Washington, D.C. 2015 Spring Trip
We plan to travel to Washington, D.C. in
May 2015. The price is $547 per person. All interested

belt. Ladies, all accessories must be in uniformed color and should not be a distraction to the instructional
