Sibling Transfers

Parents/guardians of a student who has a sibling already enrolled in a District school through an approved transfer may apply for a younger sibling to attend the same school in accordance with District Administrative Rule JBCD-R. This provision attempts to address siblings enrolled in different schools at the same time due to an approved transfer. A sibling is defined as a brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister living in the same household and who otherwise meets the requirements for enrollment. The application window for the 2018-2019 school year will be open from January 4, 2018 through January 31, 2018. Band Concert

LSGA 6th Grade Band Concert will be held on Tuesday, December 5th at 6:30 p.m.

Academic Night

Please join LSGA for Academic Night on Thursday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m.

Chick-Fil-A Biscuits

We will have chicken biscuits for sale on Friday morning, December 8th.

Talent Show

LSGA's Got Talent will be Friday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets in advance are $3 and $5 at the door. Special guest performance by the Pebblebrook High School Beta Phi Step Team

School Dance

The PTA will host a school dance on Friday, December 15th from 2:30 - 4:30.

Lindley Showcase

Lindely Showcase on Tuesday, December 19th at 9:30 a.m.

Early Release

Students early release days are Tuesday, December 19th and Wednesday, December 20th.

Winter Holiday

No school December 21st through January 2nd.

LSGA Receives Single Statewide Accountability System (SSAS) Awards

Lindley Sixth Grade Academy receives the Greatest Gain Award in the Gold category for exhibiting high growth in student achievement by earning a three-year average CCRPI Progress Score in at least the 93rd percentile in the state. LSGA is one of 25 Cobb schools being recognized out of 218 schools across the State of Georgia.

Georgia Parent Survey 2017-2018

All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation for the School Climate Star Rating. Survey reponses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. Please click here to complete the survey. LSGA Food Pantry

LSGA's food pantry which is sponsored by MUST Ministries. Acceptable School Attire

Students are expected to adhere to the Dress Code Policy of the Cobb County Board of Education (JCDB). Acceptable school attire enhances the overall climate and expectation of the school for students. Dress Attire checks will take place during first period and throughout the day.
