LSGA Has Talent
On Friday, April 29, 2016 LSGA will host a talent show. Tickets may be purchased in advanced for $3 at the school during lunch or from Ms. Kempson in room 400B.
Tickets at the door will be $5. Please come out and support our talented students as they dance, sing, perform comedy and play musical instruments!
Title I Parent Involvement Survey

LSGA Book Fair
Our Book Fair will be starting Monday, April 25th. Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that provides the books kids want to read.
It's a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Reading for pleasure inside and outside of school has
real and long-lasting benefits. It unlocks the power of information and imagination and helps children discover who they are. Please make
plans to come to our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child's reading habits. Remember, all purchases benefit our school. See you at the Book Fair!

LSGA Goes to Carnegie Hall
Congratulations to Ms. Crutcher and the LSGA Chorus for their invitation to Sing at Carnegie Hall in June 2016!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our students to not only visit, New York, but sing at the most prestigious
venues in the world for both classical music and popular music.

The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2016-2017 school year.
Individual school capacity information and applications will be available beginning February 1, 2016 on the District's website.

Georgia Parent Survey
We need your input for the Georgia Parent Survey. The survey window will be open from October 5, 2015 – February 26, 2016.
Parents/Guardians may complete the survey using their personal computer, smartphones or tablet. For parents/guardians who
do not have access to the Internet, you are welcome to come to the school any time between 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. to use our
computers in the media center and/or parent resource center. The Georgia Parent Survey data will be used as part of the
calculation of the School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous and will be submitted directly to the Georgia
Department of Education for analysis. We need your input. Click

Washington D.C. Field Trip
The Washington D.C. field trip will take place May 21-25, 2016. The price for students is $589 and $702 for adults. The registration deadline is September 24th. Register today using our Trip ID #116215. There are three
ways to register: Online at www.worldstridesdiscovernow.org (use the Trip ID # listed to register), by phone call the WorldStrides Customer Service Team at 1-800-468-5899

The school dress code is enforced the first day of school. Gentlemen, please remember to purchase a black or brown leather
belt. Ladies, all accessories must be in uniformed color and should not be a distraction to the instructional
