Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey is
also modeled after the student survey and contains 24
questions. Parents please follow the link to take a brief
survey about your experience with Lindley Sixth Grade
Academy. Survey responses are anonymous and will be
submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education
for analysis. Data results from the Georgia Parent Survey
will not be available to the public and will not be posted
Building Parent Leaders - Road to Graduation
Parents join us at Sky View Professional Center
for the opportunity. Parents will learn valuable information
about how to help your student be successful and graduate from
high school. This conference will be held on Saturday, January
24, 2015 from 8:30am - 12:00pm.

Student Learning Objective Pre-Tests
enrolled 6th grade beginning chorus, will be
participating in the Student Learning Objective (SLO)
assessments between January 16, 2015
and January 20th,
assessments will gauge the learning growth of our students
between this pretest administration and the end of the year.
No special preparation is needed for these evaluations.

2015-2016 School Choice
The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice
(HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2015-2016 school year.
Individual school capacity information and applications will be
available beginning February 1, 2015 on the District website.

Join us on Tuesday, January 27, from 5:00pm -
8:00pm for McTeacher's Night at the Mableton McDonald's (next to
the Family Dollar). A portion of the proceeds will be given back
to the school.
Spelling Bee Winners
Congratulations to Xaniyah Black
for winning the school-wide Spelling Bee. She will represent
Lindley 6th Grade Academy at the county Spelling Bee. Also an
honorable mention goes to Queen Moses as the
runner up. She will serve as our alternate participant.
Day of Code
LSGA will be participating in the "Day of Code"
supported by the ToC (Technologist of Color) organization.

Washington, D.C. 2015 Spring Trip
We plan to travel to Washington, D.C. in
May 2015. The price is $547 per person. All interested

The school dress code is enforced the first day of school. Gentlemen, please remember to purchase a black or brown leather
belt. Ladies, all accessories must be in uniformed color and should not be a distraction to the instructional
