The school dress code is enforced the first day of school. Gentlemen, please remember to purchase a black or brown leather belt. Ladies, all accessories must be in uniformed color and should not be a distraction to the instructional environment. Please see the parent resources tab, Dress Code, for more information.

STUDENT SCHEDULES AND TEAM ASSIGNMENTS

Students are scheduled according to learning needs from 5th grade records. Homerooms will be posted around the school at 4:30p.m. on Wednesday, August 8th. Schedules will be ready to review at Meet and Greet.

SCHOOL REGISTRATION

Registration is only for students new to the 6th Grade Academy attendance zone. Students that attended a feeder elementary school (Bryant, Clay, Harmony-Leland, or Riverside) are not required to register. Registration for new students will be held Tuesday, August 7th and Wednesday, August 8th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

SUMMER ASSIGNMENT / SCHOOL POEM

All students should continue to read for 1 hour each day. All basic math facts should be mastered. Students should review the school poem, A Return to Love, which is recited daily at the 6th Grade Academy. Click here and see page 4.
