 Registration Information


Registration for the 2012-2013 school year for Kindergarteners and 1st Graders new to Cobb County will be held on Wednesday, March 28th from 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM in the Media Center.  Click on the link above for a list of required documentation needed for registration.

Vega Challenge
3rd, 4th, and 5th graders

ime is running out on the VEGA Challenge!!  Deadline is Friday, March 23.  Have you taken your 25 CRCT practice tests?  Students who complete 25 practice tests (10 Reading/Language Arts, 10 Math, and 5 Science must be completed) will be invited to the Vega Challenge celebration party on March 28!  For more information, click on the links below:

Wheeler High School Center for Advanced Studies
offers Camp  G.A.M.E.S. this summer!

The Center for Advanced Studies is offering the sixth annual Camp G.A.M.E.S. The camp is designed for rising 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls who have an interest in science and engineering. This five day camp will offer students the opportunity to explore an array of science and engineering fields including Forensics, Chemistry, Engineering, and Genetics. During the camp students will attend small group application-based workshops in each of these areas.
Students will complete take-away projects related to their areas of interest. During the afternoon of the final day the students will come together to share their experiences and results.
Instruction in the camp will be provided by content special-ists from Wheeler High School’s Center for Advanced Studies magnet program and program alumni. The camp’s program fees will cover registration, instruction, daily lunch, a camp T-shirt, and materials for a take-home project.
