Cobb Virtual Library

The media center has over
7,000 items available for checkout to students and
staff.
We have 12 networked computers that are available
for staff and student use, all with internet access.
In addition to the print materials available,
all staff and students have access to the Destiny
Library Catalog and the Cobb Virtual Library, which
are great resources available from school and from
home for research purposes.
Destiny provides searchable access to print
resources available here in the
Oakwood Media Center.
The Cobb Virtual Library includes full-text
resources from magazines, newspapers, books,
atlases, encyclopedias, dictionaries and much more.

We are working to update the library media center
collection by purchasing new print materials that
support the curriculum.
The media center maintains an open schedule
and is available throughout the day for students and
staff.
The library media
center staff works collaboratively with teachers to
provide integrated lessons that promote the
necessary information literacy skills students need
to become life long learners.
