Graduation Information

The annual Oakwood Graduation Celebration for students completing graduation requirements on our campus will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center Theatre at McEachern High School.

All Oakwood students graduating during the 2011-12 school year are invited and encouraged to participate. Students interested in participating need to contact Mrs. Benson at Oakwood by May 15, 2012 so that we can account for your attendance.

In addition to having the opportunity to participate in our celebration, students meeting graduation requirements while attending Oakwood Digital are also allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony at their home school since their diploma will bear that school's name. Information regarding each school's graduation protocol - cap and gown orders, rehearsal schedules, etc. - is forwarded to Oakwood's counselor, Mrs. Benson, by each home school and she makes this available to our students. Students or parents with specific questions may contact Mrs. Benson. If she cannot provide the answer you need, she can put you in contact with your home school's graduation coordinator. If you should choose not to participate in commencement at your home school, you will be responsible for contacting your home high school to find out the dates and times available for picking up your diploma.
