Early Release Schedule for May 23, 24
All Cobb County students will be dismissed early for the final two days of the school year, Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 24. The early release schedule for each academic level is as follows:
- High Schools: All Students released at
11:30 a.m. (No regular dismissal at 3:30 p.m.)
- Middle Schools: Students released at
1:30 p.m.
- Elementary Schools: Students released at
12:30 p.m. (After-School programs begin immediately after dismissal)
Buses will begin their normal routes at the early dismissal times for each level.

Osborne Community Reads Summer Program
OHS invites the Osborne community to join us for book discussion this summer. The discussion will cover the book "Start Something That Matters" by Blake Mycoskie. The date has yet to be determined, so check the website again in the future. In the meantime, prepare for the discussion by obtaining and reading the book. Event Flyer Here!!"

Osborne Tax Center Featured on CNN Money
CNN is currently running a segment about the Osborne High School Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Center! The Osborne Tax Center seeks to assist taxpayers with low to moderate incomes file their tax returns. The center is run by staff and students of OHS. Click here to view CNN video
Attendance Protocol Change
The Cobb County School District is required to
establish a district-wide attendance protocol that
details the steps schools and staff will take to
report, investigate, and prosecute student
absenteeism. On August 10, 2011, the Board of
Education adopted revisions to
Administrative Rule JE (Student Absenteeism)

FREE Tutoring Services Offered: Title I Supplemental Educational Services The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 requires that Cobb County District arrange for Supplemental Educational Services /SES (free tutoring) to eligible students of any Title I school that is identified by the State as needs improvement for one or more years.
