Reminder: The last day to pay for Junior and Senior Dues is Friday, March 2nd!!!


 Beginning Monday, February 12 through March 7, Pebblebrook Counselors will meet with all 3rd year students and their parents to complete the Junior Advisement process.  This is an opportunity to discuss Graduation Status and other important information.  Meetings will take place all day.  Appointment letters were mailed home and given to students during Homeroom.  We look forward to meeting with all of our Juniors and their parents.

National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP)

 Monday March 7, 2018 a sample of our 12th grade students will take the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP).  This assessment monitors what our nation’s students know and can do in various subjects such as mathematics, reading, science and writing, as well as civics, geography, U.S. history, and technology and engineering literacy.  The results of NAEP are released as The Nation’s Report Card.  The selected students will be divided into 2 sessions, each NAEP assessment session will take between 90 and 120 minutes.  In the upcoming week the selected 12th grade students will be notified and provided a parent/guardian notification letter.  If you need additional information about the assessment please visit the NAEP website

Scholarship Criteria - Spring 2018

You must be a PTSA member (student memberships are $5)

You must be a senior

The scholarship is an essay competition based on the school motto, "Believe You Can".

Essay Requirements

Topic: What does "Believe You Can" means to you.

Minimum 250 words

1 inch margins and double spaced

12 point Times New Roman font

Please email a copy of your membership card to along with a copy of your essay.  We will pick 2 winners who will receive $500 each.  If your essay is selected you will be contacted by someone from the PTSA Board by 5/1/2018.

 A special shout-out to the Pebblebrook Robotics Team, the Sentinels,” as they took first place in the First Lego League regional robotics competition. The competitors were Kendyl Brown, Morgan Young, Kayla Robinson, Isaiah George, and Xavier Mennefield, and the rest of the team consisting of Nia Duke, Eric Jones, Tim Endredi, Julian Woodard, Alison Bolden, Jeremy Woodard, and Dorien Mizell. The team was coached by Mr. George, Mrs. Clay, and Mrs. Donna Robinson. Their win on Saturday means they move forward to the next round of the competition.
