COURSE DESCRIPTION: this course is designed
for the college-bound student. It will include the study of mythology
with emphasis on Greek and Roman. Drama, poetry, non-fiction, and the
novel will also be studied. Composition will be integrated into the study
of the literature. Various types of essays and their development will
be covered. Literary terms, vocabulary, and grammar concepts will be incorporated
into the curriculum; additionally, the development of speaking and listening
skills will be included.

(Emphasizing internal punctuation),
