COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is an accelerated college-prep class designed for the student who has a serious interest in interpreting literature. Written critical analysis of literature is a major component of this course. Students will study selected British writers and works from the seventeenth century through modern times.. Grammar, vocabulary, reading, speaking, listening, and research will also be included in this semester’s work.
