After School Program

The Smyrna Elementary After School Program (ASP) is available to all students in grades K-5. Students must be registered and pre-paid in order to stay for the day. Students are housed in a classroom by grade level and receive a snack. Students have the rest of the afternoon for homework, reading, games and playground (weather permitting).

Enrichment Clubs

Smyrna Elementary is proud to partner with several local organizations to offer the following after school enrichment clubs. Per our policy, students participating in enrichment clubs must be registered with our After School Program. There is a $7 per day prepaid fee for each day the student attends a club plus a $10 annual registration fee. The ASP fee includes the safe and secure check-in and check-out with the ASP office in addition to a snack.

Little Scholars: Science Exploration—Come discover, experiment and create as we learn about the colliding worlds of art and science in this STEAM-based class. We will create simple machines, learn about crystals and minerals, and dabble in the world of robots.

RISE UP!—RISE UP! is a character development program for elementary students held in public schools that teaches students how to apply relevant biblical truths in their lives. RISE UP! provides a creative and fun environment for kids to hear about God's love for them.

Vamos Chicos—A unique hands-on approach to learning Spanish in a fun way. It's a fusion of arts and science in a converted bus. The projects include Eco-Arts which involves using recycled materials and items from nature.
