Wheeler PTSA School of Excellence Survey

The Wheeler High School PTSA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders, and community at-large is important for the success of our students and school. That’s why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which celebrates partnerships between PTA and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being for all students.

Please take a moment to complete a family survey for PTSA. We will use the results to determine whether we improved our family engagement at Wheeler this year.  We need all completed surveys returned by Thursday, May 21. The survey is open to anyone to take-parents, teachers, and students. However, many of the questions are more directed towards parents/guardians and their involvement in their student's education. Surveys are available in print form (English and Spanish) and an online version.

Accident Avoidance Workshop at Wheeler

Anyone can handle “Normal Driving Conditions”, but how will your student react when they’re faced with “Emergency Driving Conditions”?  98.5% of the driving population does not have that training.  This is when you don’t want your student to follow the crowd. Help them stand out by training them how to save themselves. Wheeler High School PTSA brings an Advanced Driver Training Program to Marietta - May 26-31.  Please follow the below link for more information or to register.  Space is limited.

Rankings are computed through an index formula that calculates the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year. This year, only 11 percent of the approximately 22,000 U.S. public high schools were placed on this national list Wheeler ranked as #1212 in the Nation and #61 in the state of Georgia.
