We are looking for energetic and hard-working student leaders (currently in 9th - 11th grade) who are willing to serve as Student Government officers or as Ambassadors for the 2018-19 school year!

If you would like to run for a Student Government, or even if you are considering running, then please click the link below and fill out the intent form.

end of day Monday, April 30th!

There will be a mandatory meeting about campaigning Wednesday, May 2nd during the lunch periods for those who are approved to run for a position.
You will be notified May 1st if you have qualified to run for a position.

The 2018 AP Pre-Administration sessions will be held on April 19th and April 26th in the auditorium at 7:30 AM and 3:45 PM.

Please be sure to bring a copy of your AP exam schedule and a pencil.

It is mandatory for all students taking an
AP exam to attend at least
one of the four sessions.

2018 Teacher/Counselor
Above and Beyond Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Teacher/Counselor Above and Beyond Award.

Each year the Wheeler Academic Booster Club presents a special award at Honors Night to two exceptional Wheeler Teachers or Counselors who have gone "Above and Beyond", giving their time and talents to help & encourage our students.

Recipients for the last three years include:
Ms. Moudgal, Mr. Lawrence, Dr. Wasson, Ms. Mann, Ms. Polk, Mr. Furstein, and Mr. Kent.

Nominations can come from both students and parents and will now be open until April 25, 2018. We have extended the deadline!

LGE Partnering with CCSD

LGE Community Credit Union (LGE) has partnered with the Cobb County School District (CCSD) to support our schools and students.

As a new feature of this partnership, LGE has created "High School Spirit Cards" where each high school in our district will have their own VISA card (Debit or Credit) that contains their unique high school mascot logo along with the logos for LGE and CCSD, as an exclusive partnership.

Our counseling department is putting together counseling toolkits with items that allow creative counseling approaches using impact therapy.

Please help provide them the items they need for students they see.

After School Learning Links:

Tutoring Sessions are offered every Tuesday and Thursday after school 3:45-5:00pm, in the Cafeteria, covering all core subjects.

Spring Semester Tutoring will continue through Thursday, May 17, 2018.
This is free and is for any student who may need additional assistance, academic enrichment, or small group instruction.

Students must have a Permission Form signed and turned in to the Attendance Office prior to going to a tutoring session.

We love to see our former students. However, to limit disruptions to the learning environment, we are limiting all former students’ visits to after school (3:30 pm) unless an appointment has been scheduled with the teacher you are visiting and verified by the front office staff.

New Student Registration/Enrollment:

Our Counseling Office only accepts new student registration/enrollments 8am-11am Monday - Thursday.

Certificates of Enrollment:

Students/Parents needing a certificate of Enrollment, (formerly known as Certificate of Attendance), may come in to request it at the Counseling Office. We will need the student's name and address & they must be a student here at Wheeler for 10 days minimum. This is what is needed for a driver's permit/license if the student is under 18 years of age.

Payment of $2 (exact cash only) must be paid upon signing up for the Certificate of Enrollment.

If the address on the ID does not match the student's address in the system, then you will need to bring in two forms of proof of address.

In Need of Transcripts?

If you are a current Wheeler student in need of an official transcript for college or scholarship purposes, you must request this directly from the Counseling Office. Transcripts may be subject to a $2 fee (cash only).

Former Wheeler students in need of a transcript can request their transcript online 24/7 and pay with credit card via ScribOrder.
