Wheeler High School was Named Among Nation’s Best in Newsweek
Magazine’s Top High Schools List! The list represents just 6
percent of public schools in the country. Criteria is based on
how staff challenges students with advanced placement,
college-level courses and tests. Wheeler jumped up 430 points
from last year's placement in Newsweek's list and is the
second-highest ranked high school in Cobb County.
Congratulations to all of our teachers, administrators and
students for their hard work.

programs

as a link between the school council and the community

participation of parents and others within the school
community

Mock SAT & ACT
One of the best ways to score
higher on the SAT & ACT is by knowing exactly what to
expect from it by sitting through a full length test
under the same testing conditions as the real thing.
Scores are NOT sent to the College Board. Only you
receive the scores. A practice test will help you decide
whether you need to take a prep course before you take
the real thing! Scores are returned to students at a
free review session with a Kaplan instructor who will
offer tips and strategies to improve your score. You may
attend the review session without registering for or
taking the Mock SAT/ACT. If you have any questions
please contact Carolyne Woods at 404-915-6206.
The fall Mock SAT/ACT will take place
on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM in the
Wheeler Auditorium. Click here for a Registration Form.
