EOC BOOTCAMP BLITZ


What: Students who participate in our EOC Bootcamp Blitz will be provided intense & rigorous enrichment, as well as remediation for their upcoming EOC Tests this semester. Student participation in the Bootcamp will provide them with additional instruction designed to help them master the academic content. In order to provide independent home practice, take home material will be distributed.

Who: Students who are taking 9th grade Literature, American Literature, US History, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, & Economics

When: Wednesday, November 29th
3:45pm -5:45pm

Saturday, December 2nd
9am - 11am

12pm - 2pm

($144 per exam)

Registrations not paid in full @ 11:59pm on Monday, February 26th will be cancelled and the exams will not
be ordered.


AP STEM Exam Fee Waiver
 
This year the Georgia Department of Education is paying for one STEM AP exam for each student who registers to take the exam in May, 2018. In order to take advantage of this opportunity you
MUST
specify you are taking a STEM exam. The waiver is only for the cost of the test ($94), does not include the one time admin/registration fee ($15), and will also not include any late fees!


AP Final Exemption Policy
Students may exempt any AP class final exam if they register for an AP Exam AND meet the grade & Attendance Incentive Policy requirements. If student exempts in the fall and fails to take the AP Exam they may not qualify exemption in the future.

After School Tutoring:


Tutoring Sessions are offered every Tuesday & Thursday after school 3:45-5:00pm, in the Cafeteria, covering all core subjects!

This is free and is for any student who may need additional assistance, academic enrichment, or small group instruction.

Students must have a
Permission Form signed and turned in to the Attendance Office prior to going to a tutoring session.


New Student Registration/Enrollment:

Our Counseling Office only accepts new student registration/enrollment
8am-11am Monday - Thursday.

Certificates of Enrollment:

Students/Parents needing a certificate of Enrollment, (formerly known as Certificate of Attendance), may come in to request it at the Counseling Office. We will need the student's name and address & they must be a student here at Wheeler for 10 days minimum.

Payment of $2 (exact cash only) must be paid upon signing up for the Certificate of Enrollment.

If the address on the ID does not match the student's address in the system, then you will need to bring in two forms of proof of address.



Parking Decals:

Spring 2018 Forms will be available soon!!

Remember you must pay for a parking decal
EACH & EVERY SEMESTER!!

Seniors & Juniors will turn in all completed parking forms with required documentation by the deadline!!

Only fully completed information, with payment, will be accepted during the dates required from 8am-2pm to Ms. Losner in Admin IV (across from room #150)

If you are a current Wheeler student in need of an official transcript for college or scholarship purposes, you must request this directly from the Counseling Office. Transcripts may be subject to a $2 fee (cash only).

Former Wheeler students in need of a transcript can request their transcript online 24/7 and pay with credit card via ScribOrder.

We love to see our former students. However, to limit disruptions to the learning environment, we are limiting all former students’ visits to after school (3:30 pm) unless an appointment has been scheduled with the teacher you are visiting and verified by the front office staff.
