Wildcat Nation!

This year Wheeler Athletics will sponsor a tailgate party before each home football game.  The Wheeler tailgate party is a social event / pep rally that will be held in the south end of our bus port. Tailgating, an American tradition, involves playing loud music, participating in leisure games, and grilling food. Tailgate parties usually occur in parking lots at stadiums, before games.  Many people participate even if their vehicles do not have a tailgate. In schools and communities throughout the United States, there are athletic departments, coaches and parents of student athletes who rely on pre-game tailgating parties to build community and support for their program and team. Wheeler’s Tailgate was developed to energize the Wildcat Nation and establish a strong core of support year after year.

Wheeler’s Tailgate:

When:  Before every home Varsity Football game at 4:30 PM

Where:  Bus Port Bay - adjacent to café, Fieldhouse, and bus pavilion.

This Friday, August 29th’s Tailgate will include:
--

--The 1st 100 students will receive a Wildcat Nation T-Shirt
--Wildcat Pride Drum Line performance
--Cheerleaders painting faces
--Wildcat Photo Booth (Agriculture class)

Sponsor Support:

--Kona Ice will sell Italian ice and ice cream
--
