Wheeler Wins Regional Governor's Cup
Governor Purdue sends his congratulations to Wheeler for being the Regional winner of the Governor's Cup for "significant three-year average gains in critical reading and math SAT scores." The Governor, in conjunction with AT&T, sponsor of the Governor's Cup, awarded Wheeler a trophy and a grant to be used for SAT preparation. Wheeler's SAT scores jumped 66 points from the previous year. Read more
Wheeler Alumni, Grace Tiao, named Rhodes Scholar Congratulations to Grace Tiao, who graduated from Wheeler in 2004, for receiving a full scholarship to study mathematics and statistics at the University of Oxford in England under the Rhodes program. Read More
Who Has The Best High School Band In Georgia? WSB-TV is conducting a 64 team high school marching band contest. Bands battle in head-to-head matchups with the winners advancing towards the Final Four.
The winning band will have the opportunity to play at an Atlanta Braves baseball game in the spring. Votes are based on the number of video views each band video receives. We made it to the 3rd round! Vote for Wheeler Band
