Siemens Science Competition Finalists
Congratulations to Darpan Patel, who was named a Siemens Regional Finalist, and Sindhuja Surapaneni, who was named a Semifinalist in the 2009 Siemens Competition. The Siemens Competition - a signature program of the Siemens Foundation, the national leader in supporting STEM education with contributions surpassing $7 million each year - is the nation's premier science research competition for high school students.

Who Has The Best High School Band In Georgia?
WSB-TV is conducting a 64 team high school marching band contest. Bands battle in head-to-head matchups with the winners advancing towards the Final Four. The winning band will have the opportunity to play at an Atlanta Braves baseball game in the spring. Votes are based on the number of video views each band video receives. Vote for Wheeler Band

Wheeler High School had the highest AP Test passing rate in Cobb County! Our students passed 82% of the AP Tests taken in 2009 with a score of 3 or above.
