the Life of Cathie Banks
The Wheeler "Celebration of Cathie's Life"
will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 2:00pm at Wheeler High
see details and RSVP here.
We are designing
the celebration to be a fun reminiscence of Cathie's life. We
would like to have a student, parent and/or staff member
represent each of her 40+ years in education by sharing their
favorite Ms. Banks story. Each story should be approximately 1
minute long. We will also be putting together a slideshow for
the event and a memory book to give to Cathie's daughter, Julie.
If you are interested in sharing a story on that day or in the
memory book please fill out
this form. Due to the number of responses we anticipate
receiving, we will likely have to limit the number of speakers.
We will communicate by Dec. 10 with all individuals who are
interested in speaking.
If you have any
pictures that you would like included in the memory book or a
slideshow to be shown on Dec. 21 please email them as an

Raymond Chevy Drive for Perfection
Test Drive a New Chevrolet and Support
Wheeler! Wheeler has a chance to receive a monetary donation
from Steve Rayman Chevrolet through an upcoming “Test Drive
Period.” You can go to Steve Rayman Chevrolet at 2155 Cobb
Parkway in Marietta and for each test drive through the rest of
November Wheeler will receive a $50 donation, new or pre-owned.
Once you make your test drive, ask for a voucher that gives you
a code and directs you online to
enter the code and select Wheeler High School. It’s that
easy! Last year we raised over $1100 dollars. We are competing
against Osborne High School! Also, from now through the end of
the year, our school will get a $100 donation per new and
pre-owned car bought by a Wheeler family.
