SAT & PSAT Course Options

Project 2400
Project 2400 is an SAT Prep Course taught by The Princeton Review and financially supported by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce, Cobb County School District, and the Cobb Educational Foundation.  Through the financial backing of these groups, this valuable program is free to the student and family. Each high school has been given the opportunity to offer one class with a maximum of 24 students. 

Interested juniors and parents of interested juniors, please plan to attend a mandatory Project 2400 Parent Night meeting on Thursday, October 22 at 7 PM in the Wheeler Auditorium. 

• Wheeler has proposed a schedule with most classes running on Tuesdays from 3:45 - 5:45 PM in addition to three Saturday mornings from January through April. 
  
  
• Students accepted into the course must agree to register and pay The College Board to take either the May 1 or June 5, 2010 SAT. 
  
  
• Parents must attend the Parent Night meeting and agree to support the student (attendance and homework) throughout the course.
  
  
• CCSD expects more interest than space available, so a lottery will be held at each Cobb high school on November 2 to determine participants and to establish a waiting list.

SAT/ACT Preparation Class
The Wheeler Academic Booster Club sponsors a test preparation course on Sunday afternoons, 4-6 PM at school and a Mock SAT/ACT test.
