Fall Break Reading Challenge!
"Readers Are Leaders"
During our fall break, we are challenging all of our
Addison students to take some time and read while we are out of
school. Fliers were sent home in Thursday folders explaining all
of the details, so make sure you look for your child's reading
challenge information. All forms are due back by Wednesday,
Sept. 24th. Students who meet the reading challenge will win a
reading award, so read and meet our challenge!
ngratulations to our Teacher of the Year!
Mr. Jim Williams
Congratulations to our
Classified Employee of the Year!
Mrs. Stephanie Runge
One of our school goals this year is to increase the depth of
parental involvement. Addison teachers love parent volunteers!
Please consider giving your time to a worthy cause. Here are
some ways you can be involved:
volunteering in the science lab or media center or serving as a room
helping at the book fair
joining the FBI (Fathers Being Involved)
helping with the Fall Festival
assisting during testing
sharing your culture during International Night
helping in our gardens
collecting Boxtops or Labels for Education
supporting our fundraisers
Specific grade levels also host events that require
assistance, such as the fifth grade trip and the
kindergarten tea. And, of course, please join PTA and
Foundation. Your support is always needed and appreciated!
