2015-16 School Choice

The Cobb County School District is again offering School Choice (HB 251 and SB10) transfers for the 2015-2016 school year.  Individual school capacity information and applications will be available beginning February 1, 2015 on the District website.  For more information, please see our 2015-16 School Choice webpage.

Governor Nathan Deal announced five winners of the Innovation in Teaching Competition,
 a recognition and reward opportunity for teachers who demonstrate innovative teaching strategies for the Georgia standards in
English/Language Arts and Mathematics.

Baker's Spelling Bee Champion!



Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Target classes!  They have been competing the past three weeks against three other Cobb elementary schools, Pickett's Mill, Blackwell, and Tritt on a live academic program called Interstellar.  They won all three matches!  We are very proud of our Baker students! CCSD Updates Enrollment Protocol

The health and safety of our students and school staff is our highest priority. National and international health authorities are currently working to manage an ongoing outbreak of the Ebola virus disease in several countries in West Africa. The Cobb County School District has released an update to the Enrollment Protocol as well a letter to parents informing them of the changes. Please see the links below.
