The Campbell AP Capstone program is currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 cohort. Are you interested in conducting research, working with a team, and practicing presentation and public speaking skills?  Do you want to create something to enhance your community?  Is there a problem that you would like to solve?  The AP Capstone program is an opportunity to gain the skills needed in all of those areas. Our organization strives for success for all athletes and plans to be the best representation for Campbell High School.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods is seeking middle and high school students to serve on his 2019-20 Student Advisory Council. These students will meet with Superintendent Woods to discuss the impact of state policies in the classroom, along with other issues related to education, and will serve as the Superintendent’s ambassadors to their respective schools. Members will also engage in community service projects to benefit Georgia students and schools.

The Campbell Varsity Softball Team defeated Riverwood 14-12 last night. Hailey M was the winning pitcher, striking out 5. Skylar J went 3 for 4 and had 3 RBIs. Bella G went 4 for 4 hitting for the cycle. The team will travel to Cartersville this weekend to compete in the Buccaneer Bash. Wish us luck!

State School Superintendent Richard Woods is seeking middle and high school students to serve on his 2019-20 Student Advisory Council. Members will also engage in community service projects to benefit Georgia students and schools.

The Campbell Varsity Softball Team beat North Atlanta last night 8 to 0. Hailey M pitched a 1 hit shut out with a solid defense behind her. Bella G had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Adrienne B had 2 hits, scored 2 runs, and had an RBI. Nicole K and Daija G both contributed hits and runs scored. The girls will play Centennial at home on Wednesday. First pitch 5:30pm.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods is seeking middle and high school students to serve on his 2019-20 Student Advisory Council. These students will meet with Superintendent Woods to discuss the impact of state policies in the classroom, along with other issues related to education, and will serve as the Superintendent’s ambassadors to their respective schools. Members will also engage in community service projects to benefit Georgia students and schools.

The City has just opened applications for the 2019-2020 Smyrna Youth Council Program. This program is an opportunity for students to learn more about local government, engage in their community, and represent the youth of Smyrna. Applications are now open to students who attend Smyrna schools, live in Smyrna (even if they don’t attend a school in Smyrna), and to homeschool students as well. 

We would love for all of you to help us spread the word about the Youth Council. We are extremely excited and have plans for a big year. Collaboration is extremely important, so feel free to reach out if you have any ideas for the Youth Council. The City has just opened applications for the 2019-2020 Smyrna Youth Council Program. This program is an opportunity for students to learn more about local government, engage in their community, and represent the youth of Smyrna. Applications are now open to students who attend Smyrna schools, live in Smyrna (even if they don’t attend a school in Smyrna), and to homeschool students as well. 

We would love for all of you to help us spread the word about the Youth Council. We are extremely excited and have plans for a big year. Collaboration is extremely important, so feel free to reach out if you have any ideas for the Youth Council. We would be extremely thankful if you would share this information with your students. Applications are due by August 23rd with interviews of selected candidates coming shortly after.

State School Superintendent Richard Woods is seeking middle and high school students to serve on his 2019-20 Student Advisory Council. These students will meet with Superintendent Woods to discuss the impact of state policies in the classroom, along with other issues related to education, and will serve as the Superintendent’s ambassadors to their respective schools. Members will also engage in community service projects to benefit Georgia students and schools.

Congratulations to the JV softball team on their victory against Kennesaw Mountain High School 15-9! The Spartans were lead by pitcher Skylar James with monster hits contributed by Freshmen Leah Faser and Peyton Bedgood at the plate. Come out and support your lady Spartans at their next home game Aug 13th vs Cambridge.

The Varsity Softball team beat McEachern, last night, 13-0. Hailey McCain was the winning pitcher, only allowing one hit in the shut out. 

Bella Galloway had 2 hits and scored 3 runs. Nicole Knight had 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Joy Tyrlick also had 2 RBIs and scored 2 runs. Daija Gresham went 1 for 3 with 3 RBIs. Adrienne Bradley went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI.

 The Spartans play Marietta at Marietta at 5pm today. Wish them luck in their quest to win the 2019 Marietta Invitational Tournament.
