Thank you to our JROTC students and instructors who supported multiple Veterans Days ceremonies around the area. We are blessed to have many veterans on our staff and a great JROTC program!

Congratulations to Spartan Swimmers! Boys and Girls teams each took second place, just behind Lassiter, this past Saturday.  Both squads defeated Kell, Kennesaw Mountain, Marietta, North Cobb Christian, and the Walker School. The Boys Team qualified their 200 Medley and 400 Free Relays for the State Championships.  These were swum by Grant Brown, Hauke Dell, Daniel Mitchell, Clay Morgan and Luccas Shang.  Luccas also qualified for the State Meet in the 100 Breaststroke! Great Victory!

Friday night was a great experience for our Football team, Cheerleaders, Band, Trainers, and parents! Lowndes County was a mighty opponent but certainly not undefeatable. Proud of our athletes and coaches for consistently pushing forward. Our playoff appearance signals the start of a new era at CHS!

Basketball, Wrestling and Swimming are now off and running. Come out and support our teams and our coaches!

As we continue to seek ways to improve our school, our perception and our results, this article offers ideas to reach new heights:

A bit of good news was released by the GA DOE over fall break: CHS was 1 of 8 Cobb high schools showing an increase in high school graduation rate. We climbed to 79.2 from 78.4 last year. Small incremental gains reflect our continued efforts to ensure all students achieve success.
