Menu Planning

Cobb County Food and Nutrition's registered dietitians plan menus for our students.  Menus provide well-balanced meals which conform to the United States Department of Agriculture's guidelines for school meals. 

Each month there is a Georgia Grown product which is featured.  This item is served at the schools during the month it is featured.  These items are served as part of the menu during the month they are featured.  Watch on the menu page for which fruits and vegetables are featured at your school during the current month.

Fresh fruits are an important part of daily menus at every school.  Students are encouraged to include fresh fruits as part of their breakfast and lunch.  Pictured is fresh fruit at Sope Creek Elementary School.
