Quality Classroom Project
Mission
The Quality Classroom Project provides a plan to assure quality classrooms for student instruction across the Cobb County School District.
The Quality Classroom Project will reduce dependence on portable classrooms as classroom alternatives and will improve standards of portable classrooms when they are needed.
There are two major goals for the Quality Classroom Project. First, eliminate 265 portable classrooms, and second, replace the remaining portable classrooms with permanent modular classrooms.
Elimination of the 265 portable classrooms will be accomplished by providing replacement schools, classroom additions to existing schools, and redistricting. Construction of new schools and
classroom additions will be funded by the SPLOST II and SPLOST III programs.
