RATIONALE/OBJECTIVE:

The Cobb County School District seeks to recruit, interview, select, and employ the best qualified individuals for all positions. Part of that goal is to assist applicants in understanding the District’s employment procedures regarding eligibility, screening, and recommendations for hiring.

RULE:

All employees shall be employed by the Cobb County Board of Education on the recommendation of the Superintendent. This recommendation will follow the completion of employment procedures established by the Superintendent and his staff in order to provide adequate screening of persons for employment.
