RATIONALE/OBJECTIVE: To be developed RULE: In order to be paid an hourly holiday
premium for working on a scheduled holiday, an hourly employee working a 260
- day work schedule must work the workday before and the workday after said
holiday or be on approved paid vacation, personal or acceptable short-term
leave for personal or family illness or bereavement purposes. Hourly
employees on a 260-day schedule who do not qualify for the holiday premium
will be paid 1-1/2 times their regular rate for work on a holiday. |
