RULE:

The Cobb County Board of Education acknowledges the essentiality of competency goals in the logical and systematic development and implementation of the instructional program of the Cobb County School District. It further recognizes the necessity of instructional objectives related to these goals in the teaching-learning processes. Therefore, the Cobb County School District shall maintain and regularly review a statement of competency goals for the program of instruction and shall implement an objective-based program established in light of these competency goals. The goals as adopted by the Board of Education shall be maintained as an extension of this policy.
