Cobb Teachers of the Year Honored At Atlanta Beat Soccer Game

Three School Library Media Programs Earn State Honors

Norton Park Elementary fourth grader Jonathan Hayes is among several young artists whose work will be on display at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery in Buckhead through Sept. 25! Jonathan has three pieces on display at the ‘No Limits’ art show highlighting artwork created by Georgia artists with disabilities.

Adult Education Center Awarded $42,000 Grant
The Adult Education Center was recently awarded a $42,000 grant by the Technical College System of Georgia. The funds will be used to improve instructional resources and technology at the center. The Adult Education Center provides literacy education, remedial instruction, English as A Second Language courses and General Education Development (GED) for adult students in Cobb County.
