Cobb Graduation Ceremonies at KSU Convocation Center
To Be Streamed Live Online

Ten Cobb County high school graduation ceremonies held at the Kennesaw State University Convocation Center will be streamed live from the District website beginning Wednesday, May 25 with Walton High School's commencement. Ceremonies for North Cobb, Pope and Lassiter high schools will be broadcast on Thursday, May 26; Harrison, Hillgrove and Wheeler on Friday, May 27 and Kennesaw Mountain, Kell and Campbell on Saturday, May 28. The Cobb County School District expanded its use of the county's 4,400-seat venue for 2011, offering more guests the opportunity to share the special moments of graduation.

The Cobb County School District's Event Services team, along with the Harrison High School broadcast video program, will provide the necessary resources for the webcast. Blake Tippens, video production instructor at Harrison said, "Being a parent, I believe it's an amazing opportunity for a senior's family to be involved in that special moment of graduation. With these graduation webcasts, the entire family can watch their special student receive his or her diploma."

The remaining six Cobb County high schools will conduct commencement ceremonies at other locations. More than 7,500 seniors will graduate from Cobb County high schools May 25-28. For a complete schedule of graduation ceremonies, including rehearsal times, click here.
