Beth Thompson is a registered and licensed dietitian, who lives in Woodstock with her husband Jim and 3 children.  Beth joined Cobb County Schools in 1996, as an Elementary FNS Coordinator.  In 1999 she became a FNS Middle School Coordinator, then in 2007 she became the FNS Associate Director.

Prior to her career with Cobb County Schools, Beth worked for both private companies and government agencies and has vast experience in sales, restaurant management,  recipe and menu development and commodities promotion and marketing. She earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition Education from Georgia State, and a BBA in Marketing from Iowa State. Beth is a member of the School Nutrition Association at the national, state and local level.

Beth was the winner of our Food and Nutrition Services Outstanding Leadership Award for School Year 2000-2001 and 2001-2002!
