In collaboration with the Cobb & Douglas
Health Department, CCSD enhances elementary schools’ after -school
programs by implementing the CATCH Kids Club program.
CATCH Kids Club is an after-school program that includes nutrition
education for elementary school age children and opportunities for
increased physical activity. The Food and Nutrition Services Department
assists the ASP programs by scheduling dietetic interns to present
nutrition lessons. Please fill out the
Intern Request Form if you would like to schedule a presentation for
your students.
Our school doesn’t have a CATCH Kids Club Kit? What
do we do?
There are a few more kits available for distribution this school year.
If your ASP program would like to receive one, please contact
Cindy Kanarek Culver to do so.
