Priority School Longevity Incentive Program
In March, 2001, the CCSD Board of Education approved a Longevity Incentive for select certified employees to recognize their years of service in priority schools. The Board of Education approved the phase-out of the Priority School Longevity Incentive Program on June 28, 2007. As a condition of this phase-out, all eligible employees were approved to receive one final payment.

The incentive checks and/or direct deposit stubs will be delivered to eligible employees on Friday, May 11, 2012. 2012 CCSD Annual Retirement Luncheon
The District's 2012 Annual Retirement Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta. As we finalize advance preparations, we thought it might be helpful to once again provide you with information regarding the criteria used to determine "retiree eligibility" for luncheon attendance and other pertinent information. Invitations to retirees and administrators will be mailed on or about Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Retirees and administrators are asked to RSVP by Friday, April 9, 2012. Due to limited space, only one administrator per school or department may attend. All retirees will be seated alphabetically. All administrators will be seated together, not with the retiree from their school.
In order to be eligible to attend the luncheon, retirees must: 1.) have a retirement effective date of no later than July 1, 2012 and 2.) have made an application to begin receiving a retirement/pension benefit from their respective retirement system (TRS OR PSERS). As the date for the luncheon approaches, please feel free to contact Belinda Goodman-Ayewoh, Retirement Specialist, if you have any questions, at belinda.goodman-ayewoh@cobbk12.org
