One Team, One Goal: Student Success!

2017-18 Leadership Academy

Superintendent  >  Human Resources  >  Leadership Management  >

Since 1998, the Cobb County School District has utilized the Academy model to identify, recruit, select and develop future leaders. A large majority of our current sitting principals, assistant principals, central office supervisors and administrators are graduates of one or more of the Leadership Academies. Over 700 graduates now serving in numerous capacities throughout the district continue to positively impact our students and our stakeholders. Additionally, the Leadership Academy cohort model fosters meaningful, collegial relationships with fellow participants that contribute to the district’s ability to lead together and empower dreams for the future.
