Strand: Competency in Motor Skills and Movement Patterns

Demonstrates competency in motor skills and movement patterns needed to perfrm a variety of physical activities.
Element: PEBS11.a
The learner will demonstrate competency in motor skills used in walking, running, jogging, stepping, skipping, movement routines, aerobic/anaerobic activities, interval training, strength training.

The learner will use correct techniques throughout physical fitness workouts and selected aerobic routines.

The learner will calculate resting, target, and maximum heart rates. The learner will demonstrate correct form in all flexibility, cardiovascular, and strength training exercises.
