Essential Question

What is culture? What is it like to learn a foreign language?

Enduring Understanding

 Students will begin to develop an understanding of what culture is.   Students will gain an understanding of the advantages of language learning and of French language learning in particular as well as noting relationships between French and English such as cognates.  Students will experience the joy of communicating in another language.
