Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will I get test results on that day?
Yes, you will be given a copy of the test results at your visit.
2. What should I bring to the testing?
Please bring any previous audiological test results if you have them. You can also bring a favorite toy, bottle, snack, sippy cup etc. if you feel this will help calm your child during testing.
3. Can I bring other siblings?
Yes. Two audiologists will work with your child and sit with him/her in the test booth (typically below age 5.) The parents may sit with other children in a small waiting room close to the test booth. If you are needed inside the test booth another staff member can sit with your other children in the waiting room.
4. What if I am late for my appointment?
If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we will have to reschedule since our time will be limited for testing.

6. Is there a charge of this service?
No. All audiological testing is FREE for children who reside in Cobb County School District. Marietta City School District students need prior approval for testing.
