The Cobb County School District may dispose of surplus items
in several ways as spelled out in
Administrative
Rule DO
Public auctions are held as needed and will be
advertised on our website, on Comcast Cable government
channels 23 and 24, road signs and in local newspapers. These
sales are infrequent and occur only every one to two years.
On a regular basis the school district works
with the State of Georgia’s Department of Administrative
Services to help facilitate the sale of surplus furniture and
equipment. The following links will direct you to the State’s
online auction sites. These sites list surplus items from the
state as well as other local government entities, not just
Cobb County School District. CCSD surplus will usually have a
Kennesaw, GA location for pick up.
